Mixed Media Reflection card

Good Morning :)
I have my DT project for this weeks C4E Recipe Challenge to share today.
All the challenge details, DT inspiration and entry can be found HERE.

The challenge this week is to include some sort of reflective material.
I added two small mirror tiles to my mixed media card.

Apologies for the slight blur on some of the pics I am full of cold at the moment and hands are a little shaky!

I did end up getting paint on the mirror tiles but you can still see them (just about lol!)

The flower cluster was put together with a selection of flowers from my stash, some are quite old!

I added a mix of Gesso and Maya Gold paints to the lovely background paper from My Minds Eye Pretty Things 6x6" Paper pad.

There are punched leaves, Prima trim, wire twirls, beads and hidden at the bottom a die cut Trellis.

I have a busy day today getting ready for the first C4E crop and workshop of the year.
Tomorrow we will be making a Finnabair inspired canvas, fabulous technique lots of interesting parts and messy paint!
Have a fabulous weekend, thanks for stopping by

Mixed Media Thank-you cards

Good Morning :)
I am back today with my DT project for this weeks C4E Recipe Challenge.
This weeks challenge details can be found HERE along with gorgeous DT inspiration and entry.

The challenge this week is BLUE TONES and for my DT project I made two mixed media thank-you cards.

Both cards were made in the same way, I stamped on to a piece of white cardstock using black Stazon ink and some lovely Tim Holtz stamps.

I then coloured them using Dylusions inks.

When they were dry I added a Modelling paste mix through a stencil, then sprinkled a little glitter on before it dried.

I hope you will be able to join us this week and don't forget we have a DT call on at the moment too :)
Have a fabulous weekend

Family

Good morning :)
I have my DT project for this weeks C4E recipe challenge for you today :)
All the challenge details, entry and fabulous DT inspiration can be found HERE.

This week I have done a layout using a photo from last Christmas.
I don't know about you but getting a decent photo of my boys is getting harder and harder lol!

I was having a play with the photo editing and found a brilliant effect called Time Machine. It alters the photo to the style of various times such as Victorian, 50's and 70's. This photo had a Victorian effect added.

The background was stamped with a variety of stamps including stitches, hearts and a date stamp.
I sprinkled gold paint and red Dylusions ink over it before adding the paper cluster and embellishments.

The kit for this layout is available in the C4E store, though I don't think there are many left now!
